Powder Training Supervisor - Diamond Vogel

Diamond Vogel has a newly created position in our Powder Building on the Orange City campus.  The Training Supervisor will plan, direct, and coordinate the training of production personnel in the powder plant to effectively serve its customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to lead and coach personnel. Able to effectively analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training.
• Train personnel through setting the culture/standard, technical skills, and soft skills needed for the specific job.
• Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations/training management. Proven experience successfully leading training operations.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify potential training options, decide on a course of action and execute it.
• Great communication, planning and organization skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Showing leadership working with Employees, Team Leads, On-the-job Trainers, Plant Manager, Production Supervisors.
• Operations Systems: Coordinate with Managers to develop and implement training materials to meet production and secondary operations training.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and develop plans to help each employee improve to contribute to their full potential.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws: Lead in such a way as to fulfill company values and inspire others to do the same.
• Provide support for training and relationship building with Customers, Vendors, Community, and Corporate Support.
