The Sr. ERP Manager is responsible for providing support, service, and the expansion of the existing ERP/MES system. This is a hands-on position that requires technical knowledge and the ability to complete goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Desired Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Configure and manage ERP/MES, the associated settings, and part configurations that impact the job recommendations (Plex strongly Preferred).

Manage distribution, manufacturing, accounting, and finance modules.

Familiarity with mapping out the business process and aligning with Plex (and other EPR solution) processes, to ensure the most efficient use that meets business needs.

Assess solutions using middleware integration tools.

Exposure to a web-based application platform.

Experience with SQL, VisionPlex, and InteliPlex.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects using prioritization and the ability to complete deadlines.

Capacity to handle complex projects. 

Ability to think through problems, identify solutions, and communicate recommendations with technical and non-technical peers/management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced time management skills. 

Ability to interact with technical and non-technical “customers”, and employees at all levels of the organization. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of workflows in a manufacturing environment (rework, MRB, expediting, etc.).

Successful multi-site roll-ups, data aggregation, and automated monthly financial reporting.

User-oriented with a desire to provide exceptional customer service.

Perform tasks with urgency while maintaining acute attention to detail.

 Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products, using documentation and internet resources.

Capacity to work independently with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Ability to work well with project teams involving multiple departments.

Willingness to assume a leadership role to gain consensus on a given topic.

Data management, including traces, backups/recovery, logins, replication, SQL policy, and best practices.

Use DMVs, counters, profiler, tuning advisor, etc. to ensure optimal performance. 

Create and evaluate tests on staging area tests to ensure optimal performance.

Ensure appropriate parameters are alarmed so that problems are caught before negative customer impact.

 

Computer Skills

5 years of directly related experience in ERP and Plex environments performing.

2-3 years of experience with process automation.

3 years of experience in related planning, analysis, configuration, installation, management, and coordination work.

8+ years of experience implementing, maintaining and supporting an ERP system in an enterprise-scale production environment.

5+ years of experience with high availability implementation including clustering, replication technologies, and disaster recovery strategies.
