Oversee day to day manufacturing operations and processes to ensure optimal effectiveness in our Rotational Molding Division. Responsible for resource planning and scheduling. Maintain all quality, safety and company guidelines established for area.

Excellent public/employee relations skills, including training, educating, and promoting skills. Ability to communicate internally & externally positively representing DHI during exchanges in person, in writing, by telephone or e-mail.

Knowledge of manufacturing methods, techniques & scheduling.

Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to use/learn enterprise resource planning software (TCM).

Ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities in a fast paced environment and easily adapt to changing situations.

Must possess strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information to employees within the company & capably respond to inquiries and/or complaints regarding area.

Capacity to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to convert units of measure.

Proven ability to coach an individual and team environments with specific and measurable objectives.

Aptitude to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions and recommend &/or implement solutions. Ability to formulate reasonable cause and effect assumptions.

Requires high level of organization, self-motivation and ability to work independently working with limited or no supervision at times.

Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Proven success in a leadership role.

Working knowledge of ERP / MRP II systems is desired.

Manufacturing experience, with an exposure to Rotational Molding preferred.

Experience includes real-time operations management of production.


Duties:

DUTIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

1.Supervise and provide guidance to Rotational Molding employees ensuring processes and policies are followed. Duties include, training, discipline, scheduling and performance evaluation.

2.Working with division management, plan and direct production planning and scheduling for area to maximize production output while minimizing production costs and maximizing customer satisfaction.

3. Assure quality standards are maintained throughout Rotational Molding and corresponding areas, inspecting product and tooling for safety, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specified requirements.

4.Ensure safe manufacturing processes are followed: safe machine operation, proper ergonomics, employee compliance of personal protective equipment requirements, clean work areas, reporting of accidents in a timely manner, (raising issues as necessary), and participating in company safety meetings or safety training. Recommend equipment design changes to eliminate safety hazards.

5.Handle employee performance issues including assisting with employee meetings, providing feedback, issuing disciplinary actions, making recommendations for employment decisions (hiring, promotions, transfers, discharge of employees), and administering company policies.

6.Professionally and positively communicate with employees and management, responding to needs of employees, as well as internal and external customers.

7.Serves as a positive example for all employees by complying with all Company policies and procedures.
