Summary

Position is responsible for painting, sanding, cleaning, and preparing parts for painting.

  • Read blue prints to follow customer specifications and be extremely detail oriented.

Computer Skills

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to precarious places and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate requiring hearing protection in certain areas. 

Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

PPE is provided by SEKISUI Aerospace based on the employee’s position and exposure.

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, additional overtime hours as needed

Swing Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, additional overtime hours as needed

Night Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, additional overtime hours as needed

Duties:

Duties

  • Paint parts to customer specifications
  • Cleans and maintains all painting equipment
  • Cleans and maintains all paint areas.
  • Records time spent and materials used.
  • Assists other painters when needed.
  • Sand, clean, and prepare parts for painting.
  • Masking of non-painted surfaces
  • Paint mixing
  • Operations of automated downdraft spray booth, paint application equipment, and fresh air systems.
  • Follow shop order work instructions
  • Read blue prints and follow customer specifications and be detail oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location: Orange City, IA

Experience: Five to seven years of aerospace paint experience required.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Shift: Day / Swing / Night Shift

Open: Tuesday December 1st

Close: Sunday January 31st 2021
